Today the gaps are finally all closed up. YAY! I had to cut two boards to make them fit, and the other two were ok. I`m so happy this part is done. Even though not all high ladder work is all done, because I still have to put bug screen against the boards, because they have open spaces at the top for ventilation of the roof insulation that will put in later. I really want to make sure that no bugs (read wasps) will get into my ceiling.
Of course Dizzy kept me company all the time. But she knows now when to keep distance, like when I`m using the saw or climbing the ladder. But she is never far away. LOL
I also got a telephone call from the building store that my doors were in. Another big YAY!!! I`m going to pick them up Tuesday, because Monday is a holiday here. I believe it is called Civic Holiday or statutory holiday. First Monday of August, which is a good reason for a holiday. Hahaha!
We had some rain last night and my rain barrels were filled up some more, but it wasn't really that much. So I have to haul some in to water my gardens. I did water the gardens and finished all the barrel water with that. I will see if it will rain again on Monday, as the forecast says. But it`s just 60% chance, so I think it would be good to haul some water in anyway.
I made a short movie of myself while doing some work on the gaps. Handling the saw and putting in a board. Just to give an idea. Here is the link to the movie. I hope it works. :-) http://youtu.be/sG5LTIqPeA0
