What a beautiful days we have lately. Finally the temperatures are going up and above freezing. YAY! It’s beautiful. Snow is melting every where and icicles are forming. With Spring so close I started to put some seeds in. 4 days ago I did some flowers, herbs and vegetables. Well my goodness! Some of those seeds are fast! My Morning Glory and Marigolds are showing up already. Morning Glory is a climbing vine that will give beautiful white flowers. Marigolds are the yellow/orange puffy flowers and they help to keep away the aphids that attack tomatoes, potatoes, roses and strawberries. They are easy to grow for sure. If these early growers won’t make it, I have more seeds to plant directly in the soil. I always loose some of the early ones. Especially the vines, when they grow just so high and break before planting out. But I keep my hopes up that they will make it though. So much fun, seeding time! I have put all the seed boxes in the computer room where the window is facing south. It's a very warm room and quiet light. And cats can not come in as I keep the door closed. Cats and potting soil....not the best combination. Hahaha!
Mean time our lovely sweet little kitten Dizzy is a hand full. She loves to discover and during her journey around our house, she finds lots of things to play with. Most of the time NOT her toys, that are EVERY where. Of course she likes the things that are a big NO NO for her. The picture probably says enough. Tomorrow she will be 12 weeks old. Until this phase is over, we have to keep the bathroom door closed. LOL
